Sharing skills and writing diaries

This week Year Two have shared skills with one another! We had a very enjoyable and informative time swapping between classes and helping one another to persevere. Our peer experts ran master classes in hula-hooping, jigsaw techniques, folding the perfect paper aeroplane and yoga poses; to name just a few skills.
It was wonderful to see the children taking on the role of teachers and leaders and using encouraging language to help one another.
In addition, we have started reading 'Boogie Bear' by David Walliams and we are using this to help us understand how it feels if someone is bossy in a team. We are writing diary entries as a 'big-wet nosed bear' , focusing on our use of adjectives and adverbs.
If you get chance to read a David Walliams book at home, they are fun for all the family; packed with humour!
