We are currently recruiting for the following:

Midday Assistant - temporary to 18/07/2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Midday Assistant.

The post is to cover lunchtimes from 11:45am – 1:15pm Monday to Friday.

The rate of pay is ERYC Grade 2A – currently £12.85 per hour

Driffield CE Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. 

The successful applicant will be subject to two adequate references, a DBS check and an on-line check.

The successful person will support in setting up the dinner hall and supervise the children over lunchtime, both in the hall and outside. They will promote good eating skills and positive, safe play.

The applicant will need to have good organisational skills, be firm but friendly and be adaptable.
