Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

As many of the children know we are following the world record breaking attempt to climb the 14 highest mountains all over 8000m in 7 months. 

Just as we broke up Nims climbed Everest, Lhotse and Makalu in 48 hrs and 30 minutes! His photograph of the queue to summit Everest went global. The work we take pictures of and send on really do motivate him and he has mentioned our school and the amazing children many times. 

He is about to go to Pakistan and climb the infamous K2, Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum 1 & 2. 

So if you fancy doing a project on one of these mountains bring it in to Mrs.Jackson where it will be displayed and also sent via Twitter to Nims and team. If you do a personal challenge - take a picture and bring that in too!
