Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

Yesterday was our last cooking crew, we made some sticky blobs. We used the rubbing in method to mix the flour and butter together to make breadcrumbs. After this we mixed in the sugar. We carefully cracked the egg before adding it to the milk before adding it to the dry ingredients. We had to carefully roll the mixture into a ball before placing it on the baking tray.The final part was to add the jam in the small dent in the middle of the blob. Well done to all who have attended cooking crew this year you have all worked really hard. Hopefully you are all trying to help with the cooking at home now.Mrs Try ,Mrs Dixon and Mrs Edeson.
