Worldly readers!
Well-done Kingfishers...we won the class challenge to read as many books from around the world as possible, with a score of 18! Thank you for all the books that were sent in-we are still reading some of them as there were so many! We have thoroughly enjoyed locating their origins on our world map. We have read books from Africa, New Zealand, America, India, Jersey, Finland and Denmark to name but a few. A Moomin book by Tove Jansson was voted our favourite (so far!).
We had a wonderful day yesterday on World Book Day, completing book scavenger hunts, tasting foods from around the world, making characters and sharing books with Starfish class. Thank you for all of the costumes; everyone looked amazing.
