Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

This week the Robin’s have been working extremely hard on our new focus, Antarctica! We’ve been busy with descriptive writing, writing rules on how to stay safe on a voyage to Antarctica and we have also started to write letters in response to Bob the Brave, our very own explorer. We know Antarctica is very cold and wet, so we’ve decided to plan a fair test on the best material Bob can use for a costume, and the children have written some very interesting predictions on what material they think is best. 
In maths we’ve learnt about money, and how and why coins and notes look different to each other. If you are out and about at the weekend spending money then ask your child to help you count out the correct amount.
