A very creative week in Year 1..
Year One have had a great week continuing their topic 'Animal Puzzle'. They have been thinking more about what type of animal might be inside the mystery eggs that appear in our classrooms last week.
We love finding new stories to read in Year One, and each class has spent the last 2 weeks focusing on a different book. Turtles have loved reading Bog Baby, and enjoyed their afternoon out to Kingsmill to collect items for a shoe box habitat for Bog Baby. Dolphins have been reading the Storm Whale, and the children have each designed and created their own boat to take the whale home. Starfish have been reading Beegu, and have been designing and making a spaceship to take Beegu home to her family.
Next week the books will be swapped around for the children to have new adventures with them.
