What a half-term!
What a busy and productive half-term the Kingfishers have had. We are now half-way through our Leaders' Award and have carefully considered kindness and perseverance; researching key figures such as Florence Nightingale and Rosa Parks. (For anybody who is interested, last Sunday's Dr. Who was all about Rosa Parks and could be a good watch as the children were so interested. It may need vetting first-I haven't seen the full episode!).
In addition we have been working hard on our addition and subtraction skills and have started to get to grips with the column method.
We also filled our marble jar for the first time and celebrated with decorating biscuits....I hope they were enjoyed!
After half-term we will come back to our teamwork unit of the Leaders' Award and to thinking about Diwali and Remembrance.
