Learning at Tesco; every little helps!
Kingfishers had a fabulous trip to Tesco today. They were complimented, once more, on their enthusiasm for asking lots of questions. Well done, Kingfishers, you showed your love for learning really well.
At the fish counter, we were shown lots of different types of fish and found out where they came from; including how all sardines are caught by Captain Sam from Cornwall! We watched a fish being gutted to be prepared as a fillet for sale.
In the warehouse we experienced the very chilly temperatures that keep our food fresh and we were also treated to a tasting session with lots of fruit and different types of bread. Thank you to the lovely ladies of Tesco for a wonderful learning experience for children and adults alike!
One Kingfisher commented that the ladies definitely need a holiday now as they work so hard!
