Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

Kingfishers have had a fabulous Creative Arts Week exploring two types of dreams; those vivid images you have when you're asleep and the goals you have in life. We have explored the theme of dreams through comparing and contrasting two artists; Marc Chagall and Ernie Barnes; can your child remember some facts about them? We completed some indoor and outdoor art  activities based on these artists' work. We have also produced our own music compositions for 'feel-good' sounds and had a fantastic street dance workshop with Mrs. Vodden. In English, we have been creating some very imaginative pieces based on pictures that could be dreams. We are looking forward to sharing our work with Hedgehogs and Starfish tomorrow and seeing their work too.  Thanks you for a really imaginative and creative week, Kingfishers!
