Fire building skills!
There was great excitement tonight at Outdoor Explorers as we practised our fire building skills. To begin with, we ran through all of the safety precautions that needed to be taken; can your children remember what these are? Children then gathered tinder and had a go at using strikers to start the fire. Once a small fire was established, we had the ultimate treat of toasted marshmallows. Yum!
