Bugtopia visit
What an exciting first day back! Today, Kingfishers met a cockroach, a millipede, an African land snail and a tarantula! I was very proud of everyone for either holding or stroking all of the creatures very gently and quietly. We learnt the difference between a centipede and a millipede (no, not just the number of legs!), the difference between poison and venom and why tarantulas have hairs; as well as much more besides! Perhaps your child can tell you their favourite fact.
