We can't believe it- we have once again been lucky in our application to the Tesco Bags of Help Scheme! All you have to do is place your tokens into our collecting box when you do your shopping and if we get the most we will once again receive £4000.
This time we have applied for a grant to replenish and enhance our small world equipment throughout the school. This will impact and support our children's learning by stimulating their imagination, improving speech and language and social communication skills. The children will further develop their positive relationships with their peers, support emotional well-being and involvement through their learning.
Increasingly children are entering schools with a greater need for supporting their emotions and being able to express them effectively. Speech and language also needs greater attention and by linking their learning through creative and exciting areas children's outcomes can be greatly improved. Good quality equipment is the key to support this and would be made possible by the Tesco Bags of Help Scheme and the impact would be instant. This would be a huge boost to our local community and a fantastic foundation for the children's emotional intelligence.
