Ham and cheese pinwheels with salad.

At cooking crew this afternoon the children enjoyed layering the ham and cheese on their pastry then rolling it with care and slicing it evenly to create ham and cheese pinwheels. Whilst they were waiting for them to cook, they prepared a salad using a whole range of ingredients: lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, radishes, spring onions, mini peppers and cress. What a feast! They practised safe and accurate chopping skills.
