Den building at Kings Mill Woods was great fun for all involved... even those who got wet!

The children have had a great time at Outdoor Club this afternoon. We went to Kings Mill where we had a competition where the boys and the girls split in to two groups to see who could build the most watertight den. The boys all chose to try and lead in the group, however the girls took a step back and assessed the situation and then worked really well together as a team. We tested the dens by throwing water on them. The result was the boys got very wet! The girls however, remained dry and comfortable and even let the boys share the shelter.
