Busy busy!

We are thoroughly enjoying reading Paddington books in English lessons this half term and linking this with Geography and travelling around the UK naming capital cities. The children are very good at naming the countries which make up the United Kingdom and knowing which city is that countries capital.
Our Music we are are well underway with Colonel Hathi’s March (see photo)
In PE we are doing basketball with Mr S on a Wednesday and dance on a Friday with me - we can't wait to be able to put all of the moves together for the final dance lesson.
This half-terms Art is studying Van Gogh and the children have been painting using some different brush strokes to look at different techniques.
We had a great lesson for PSHE this week where we thought about how our actions impact other people and put ourselves in the position of the Bears in the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
As always we fit so much in to our days! From 8.45am we have tasks to do - some days it's reading based, other days maths based and on a Friday it is always sketching - today we sketched self-portraits.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
