Welcome back everyone! 
We are only a week in and have covered so much already! 
This half term we are having some cricket coaching with Josh on a Friday morning and it’s  Gymnastics with Mr Barber on a Wednesday afternoon - and I’m already impressed with the children’s performance! We have started to explore ‘Islands’ as part of our Geography topic and have started reading some of the Katie Morag stories (some of my favourites!) We will also have a DT focus this half term and will be designing, making and evaluating our own vehicles. 
Our school value is perseverance and we have thought about things we’d like to try harder with! These are on display in the classroom - they include things like trying hard to learn to swim and working on our phonics! In computing we are using the Chromebook’s to draw digital pictures and this week have already drawn a simple drawing of ourselves. This weeks music lesson was enjoyed by everyone (especially me!) and the children loved learning ‘The Menu Song’
We cover such a lot you’d be suprised how much we can fit in one day!
