Weekly update
Welcome back to a new term - we hope you've all had a great Christmas.
This half term in PE we are doing gymnastics on a Wednesday and cricket on a Friday so please remember to wear your kit on those days.
In science the whole term will be all about animals and their different classifications, English over the next few weeks is Katie Morag and linking this with other subjects such as geography and design technology.
All the curriculum knowledge maps are on the website so you can see what the children will be covering this term.
The value this half term is perseverance , it would be really helpful if your child could persevere with zipping their own coat up now the weather is cold and wet. We have talked as a class about trying really hard, avoiding the liner....... or long hair!
On a sadder note, one of our little Starfish is in hospital in Leeds and will be for a long time.. The children are aware and have been drawing pictures and writing notes to him which will be passed on.
