Seaside by Shirley Hughes
This week we have all enjoyed reading the poem 'Seaside' by famous children's author; Shirley Hughes. This was linked to our work on islands. We identified the rhyming pattern and rhythm of the poem, thought about the images it created in our heads and depicted this through drawing. We are now preparing to perform the poem which we are all looking forward to!
