The Great Flood of Driffield
On Monday we went for a walk around Driffield to identify areas that were impacted by the flood in 1910. We walked to Bridge Street and onto Exchange street. We saw where Mr Stride had his butcher's shop. Your child will be able to show you this next time you are walking down Exchange Street. We then went to see the plaque at Cass Hall. The children have really enjoyed learning about Driffield over the last term.
What is a fact family? This has been our Maths this week. It is a group of calculations that are created using the same three numbers,. For example using 2,3 and 5 to make 2 additions and 2 subtractions [see photo for an example] You could have a go at home.
