Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

The children have loved the new theme on farming. We watched Mrs Chapman's film at her farm in Driffield. Next week we learn about cows and how milk is made. We will try to make our own butter! We found out about Lent this week and the children promised that they would give up sweets for a little while at least! As part of this we tucked into delicious pancakes and tried different toppings. Thursday was so exciting with our World Book Day celebrations. We shared stories with children in Year 1 and made super hats from the story of the Gingerbread Man for the whole school parade.
