The children have found out about the fire service using story books and videos on the Smartboard to understand what it is like to to be a firefighter. In the outdoor area, the children made a large fire engine using a carboard box. They had lots of fun driving the truck and putting out fires all around the playground! We have had a busy week learning lots of sounds and learning to blend in our super phonics lessons. The children have loved the flash card pictures and saying new phrases to help them form their letters. Next week we will be finding out about the job of a vet and how they help animals .Have a lovely weekend.
