Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

So far this week we have enjoyed sharing the alternative traditional tale of The Wolf’s Story. We talked about how it had some similarities to Little Red Riding Hood and we were not too sure if we could trust the wolf. 
We have been solving addition word problems in mathematics which has enabled us to practise our ‘counting on’ skills. Next week we are looking forward to designing and building a house for one of the three little pigs - will it withstand a ‘huff and a puff’ from the Big Bad Wolf? We would be very grateful for any donations of  empty small cardboard boxes which you may send in with your child any day but by next Friday (19th) at the latest - thank you.
