Year Two home -learners

22 January 2021 (by schoollogin)

Busy, busy, busy!

A massive well-done to all our Year Two home-learner heroes for their fantastic work, once again, this week. We have been busy, busy, busy! We have worked with author Luke Temple’s guidance to design some hideous monsters and gruesome lairs! Kitchen cupboards have been raided as we learned to measure in kilograms and grams and our column subtraction skills have been put to the test. Reams of Maths No problem sheets have been filled! As scientists we deduced the Polar bear food chain. Wednesday was a tense day, Miss Rumble bravely ventured to the Arctic to help us learn about the weather there. Everyone produced some fantastic weather reports and there are definitely some budding actors in the making! Then, disaster struck...we feared the worst for Miss Rumble when we heard the Polar bear growl! You will all be relieved to hear that she escaped unharmed! A huge, heartfelt thank you to all adults for their continued, amazing support with learning and to the children for trying so hard.
