This week, we have explored different minibeasts. The children have enjoyed learning facts about spiders, ants, caterpillars, ladybirds and many more. Our story this week has been The Enormous Turnip.

In Art this week, the children have each made a collage inspired by Henri Matisse work ‘The Snail’

In Phonics, we continue to focus on CCVCC words including: blend, stamp, crunch, crept. Our new tricky words are: were, here, little, says.

In Maths, we have explored larger numbers between 10 and 30.

Next week (Wednesday) we visit Elmswell Farm! This is the first time Badgers Class have visited the farm- they are very excited. Please ensure your child comes to school in comfortable suitable clothes (not school uniform). Lunch is provided.

Next Monday (4^th) is a bank holiday and school will be closed.
