This week in Maths, we have been learning about fractions, looking at halves and quarters of shapes and amounts.
In English we have been looking at types of sentences, seeing if we can spot statements, commands, questions or exclamations in our focus book, ‘The Tiger Child.’ They did a super job with this.
In DT we have been practising our chopping and grating skills, the children loved doing this and we were very impressed with how they did.
In Geography, we have been using the atlas’ to find different countries and thought about their climates.
Computing this week was all about making music on chrome music lab. We used the rhythm section to create different sounds and used different instruments.
The Kestrels have really been enjoying swimming on a Tuesday! It’s been lovely to see how confident they are and how they just give it a go.
