Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

This week the kestrels have been busy with their writing in English. We finished reading our focus text, Meerkat Mail. They really enjoyed this book and we have been thinking about the different characters. We have been writing a letter from the character Jasper Jackal about his time following Sunny. 

In Maths, we have carried on with our learning of the 2,5 and 10 times tables and linking this knowledge to multiplication and division number problems. The children have done really well with this, I wonder if your child at home can remember the times tables. 

The kestrels have been creative in DT, we have designed our mail pouches, ready to start making next week. They can’t wait for this!
