Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

This week, we have learned lots about different careers. The children really enjoyed learning about different jobs from the visitors we have had in school. They were all very excited to dress up as what they want to be when they are older. Everyone looked super all dressed up!

On Thursday for World Book Day, the children read instructions to make a robot, and used fact files and information books to find new things out about things they are interested in. They then had an afternoon of playing board games and following the instructions so they knew how to play. They really enjoyed this and played some new games with their friends and grown ups. 

We have looked at doubling and halving in maths, thinking about multiplying by 2 for doubling and dividing by 2 for halving. The children tried really hard with this. 

Next week in Science week and we will be carrying out some different experiments!
