Can you believe we are in Spring 2 already? 

We have 2 very busy weeks ahead , next week is "Careers Week" and we have so many different people coming in to talk to the children about their jobs. Then on Thursday it is World Book Day so from 2.30pm you can come and join us in some reading of instructions for playing a game! 

Phonics next week is  - /or/ a water, ball, always, tall      /o/ a want, salt , squash swap wasp     /air/ ear ere  - bear there wear, tear swear there where. Tricky words - who whole because eye people thought through

In maths we are moving on to place value to 50 - we will once again be looking at tens and ones and one more/less than a given number. 

In English we are enjoying Paddington and we are learning about Great Britain and its 4 countries in Geography. We will be starting with facts about England next week.
