Bumblebee Class News9 January 2026 (by schoollogin) |
Happy New Year to everyone from all of the staff in Bumblebee Class! We hope you had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed some special time with your families. We have showed the children the Tapestry contributions on the Interactive Whiteboard so that they can see what each other has been up to.
We have been busy in our first week back and have taken advantage of the icy weather, which has launched our new topic of ‘Let’s Explore’ brilliantly. The children have been engaged in some fantastic outdoor colour mixing with powder paints, as well as putting on wellies to create some lovely printed 'stomped' artwork!
This week, our nursery rhyme has been ‘Jack and Jill’, and we will continue to focus on it through next week as the basis of our Listening for Sounds Phonics lesson. We encourage you to keep listening to and reading these rhymes at home, as they are a wonderful way to support your child. In maths we have been looking at The Three Billy Goats Gruff and building bridges for the characters to go over and under.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to an exciting term ahead filled with learning and fun!
