It has been lovely to welcome back the Seals this week. This half-term, in English, we will be reading several fairytales and thinking carefully about the features of these types of stories. We have started with the story of Rapunzel. In DT ,we will be building Rapunzel's tower; focussing on secure joining techniques. In this photo, we are investigating how to make a stable tower. The children concluded that it would need a wide base and strong attachments between its different parts. In history, we will be learning about the Great Flood of Driffield in 1910 and exploring points of interest in the local area. In computing, we will develop programming skills using the Beebots and, of course, there will be all of the Christmas excitement somewhere in between all of that! An exciting half-term ahead!
