What a fantastic week we’ve had in The Hive! Our Bumblebees truly embraced the beauty of autumn with some lovely finger painting activities. The children had a great time creating pictures of acorns, pumpkins, and scarecrows that really brought the season to life for all of us.
We also enjoyed some sensory exploration with our tough trays - the one with green tinsel and blue rice was an absolute hit!
Our explorations continued in the dark tent, where we introduced some of our sensory toys. The fibre optic lamp was certainly a star attraction, captivating the children's attention as they watched the lights twinkle.
For our rhyme this week and continuing into next week (as per your Little Wandle booklet), we are enjoying "A Sailor Went to Sea".

It's hard to believe we are almost at the end of our first half term already!
We have a busy week planned for next week, remember that the children are not in school on Friday 24th October as it is a training day.
