weekly update
In science we have been continuing our topic of the senses and smell. We had to identify what was in the cup by smell alone, some we liked and others not so much!
We have finished this half terms phonics and are now consolidating our learning by recapping on oy,ay,ou,and ea.
We enjoyed our walk around town and even got some free fruit from Rafters - we had some amazing apples that were bright pink inside. We waved into every shop, heard the hawk noises at the train station and were fascinated by the amount of acorns on Lockwood street.
In Art we have completed our Hockney style paintings - they look fabulous and will be going on the wall.
Maths is addition and subtraction within 10 and we have been learning "fact families" for example 3+4=7, 4+3=7, 7=4+3 and 7=3+4.
Just a reminder that PE is on a Monday and Wednesday and we need to be wearing our PE kits. Please can you check hoodies and ensure they are named and that the right ones have come home.
