We have endured a particularly wet week in The Hive; however, this has not deterred us from benefiting from outdoor activities. To ensure that all children can participate comfortably, we ask that if your child does not currently have waterproof clothing in school, and you have some available, please send them in. We do have a limited supply of spares, but they are quickly being utilised due to our love of water play and the time of year!
Thank you to the families who have already contributed items for the Harvest Collection. If you have yet to send in any items and are in a position to do so, we would really appreciate it. All of the children will be contributing to some art work which will be displayed in All Saint's Church ready for Harvest Celebrations.
We hope that the Nursery Rhyme Book is a useful resource for you at home, and we are pleased to hear that some of the children are enjoying exploring it. Please remember that all of the rhymes are available online via the Little Wandle website, providing an excellent opportunity for further engagement!
In our White Rose Maths lessons we have been looking at large groups and small groups of objects and continuing to enjoy our Messy Maths sessions - I think Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer is the class favourite.
Have a lovely weekend.
