Week 5 and 6
Another two busy weeks under our belts!
The children really enjoyed spending some time in Year One last week. The children spent a morning in Seals class with Mrs Try and they all really loved the experience and haven't stopped talking about it since.
I really hope you all enjoyed reading your child's report and seeing the brilliant progress they have made from their starting points. If you wish to discuss anything included in your child's report, please don't hesitate to ask.
This week started by watching Year Two's dress rehearsal of their Leavers Performance. We all enjoyed it so much and the children were a brilliant audience.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our last Stay & Play session of the year. It was wonderful to see you all and the children really enjoyed looking back over their first year and sharing some of their favourite parts with you.
Next week is another busy one. Monday is a non-uniform day, they children come in their own clothes and bring a tombola prize with them to school. These prizes will be used for our Summer Fair at the end of the week. Monday is also the EYFS end of year disco. The children do not need to bring any clothes with them to change into, as they will already be in non-uniform. If your child is attending the disco, we will take them straight from the classroom to the hall and you will need to collect them from the main entrance at 4.30pm. If your child is not attending the disco, you collect them as normal at 3.15pm.
Next Friday (11th July) it is the Friends of School Summer Fair. You can pick your child up at 2.20pm from the usual place and go around to the main entrance where you will be let in at 2.30pm. The Fair will run from 2.30 to 4pm, with lots of stalls and games. The raffle will be drawn at 3.45pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Kind regards
Mrs Dean & Miss Wain
