Elmswell visits
The Starfish and Seal Classes both enjoyed their trips to Elmswell this week. On his guided tour of the farm, Farmer John talked to us about deciduous and evergreen trees. He pointed out plants that grow at this time of year and showed us Cinnabar caterpillars devouring ragwort! Everyone was particularly interested in seeing this.
Afterwards, the children brought to life their landart designs that they have been working on, in school, over the last few weeks. They were also nature detectives, trying to identify different wildlife, plants and trees on a scavenger hunt!
