What another fantastic week we’ve had! The children absolutely loved singing “A Sailor Went to Sea” as part of our nursery rhymesession in our phonics lesson. This delightful rhyme will continue next week, so do remember to access the nursery rhymes at home through the Little Wandle for Parents link: Little Wandle Nursery Rhymes. We’ve also been enjoying our daily days of the week songs and clapping along – they’re a real hit! If you want to keep the fun going at home over the weekend then there's a song for Saturday and Sunday, check out the Days of the Week songs on CBeebies: CBeebies Songs.
The big teeth and the big toothbrush were very popular - so we will repeat the activity next week. If you could take a photo of your child brushing their teeth please upload it to Tapestry for us to use in our sessions that would be great.
Next week is even more exciting as we look forward to our trip to Elmswell Farm on Friday! There’s no need for uniform, but suitable clothing and footwear are essential.
The sensory scents of the day have been a great success, and the children are truly enjoying their time spent in The Nest exploring them and the sensory toys. Today, we were thrilled to have Gary Bongo visiting us, and the children had a lovely time listening to the music and exploring the instruments.
