Learning about Vesak
On Wednesday the children learnt about the Buddhist festival, Vesak. They spent time finding out about the way that the festival is celebrated, and why the Buddha is such an important symbol of the religion. After this, the class visited the shrine where they took part in some meditation, and gave offerings to the Buddha.
