Kestrel Class4 February 2025 (by schoollogin) |
Kestrel class have been super busy over the past 2 weeks!
We have been looking at Hokusai in Art, looking closely at his work before designing our own work inspired by 'The Great wave'. They are very excited to finish their prints next week.
In English they have all performed Michael Rosen's poem, 'Over my toes,' they all included actions and used clear voices. I am very proud of them.
Maths has been a challenge so far! We have been working on multiplication and division, recognising the multiplication sign and how we can use arrays to help us work out our answers! They have tried really hard with this.
We are now in our 2 weeks of Environmentalism and we have started off by thinking about the issues in our world, such as landfill and litter. The children have thought about lots of different ways we can help our planet and prevent these issues. They are all looking forward to our Swap Shop on Thursday! Thank you for all of your donations and we hope to see you there.
Miss Dean.
