Fairy tale fun!

What a fun filled day! We loved to see all the children dressed up as their favourite characters. The children have created paper plate pigs and the big bad wolf from our focus text 'Three Little Pigs'. The children also created wands and crowns- very creative! We ended the day with a fairy bun party- a great day had by all. 

In Phonics, our sounds this week were: sh, (shell, ship), th (think, thumb), nk (pink, sink) and ng (ring, sing).

In Maths, we have started a new topic looking at 4 sided shapes. Can the children find any squares or rectangles around the house at the weekend?

Next Monday (2nd) is our school disco! Please ensure your child brings some 'disco clothes' in a named carrier bag. We will change the children later in the afternoon. The disco will finish at 4:30pm. 

Please ensure all nativity costumes are in a named carrier bag and in school by next Friday (6th) in preparation for our dress rehearsal.
