Weekly round up
Last Friday was our trip to the NYMR and it was BRILLIANT! We all had a fantastic day, the staff on the railway were really impressed with the children's knowledge, observations, questions and behaviour. We were all very proud of them.
Main focus of this week has been Design Technology and food. We were making a pasta salad for Mr.Grinling the lighthouse keeper. First we taste tested some shop bought pasta salads - some loved them, some not so much. We then designed our own and finally we made them by chopping our choices and tasting our personal pasta salads.
We can't believe how fast the time is going and yet another half term has flown by. Next half term we will be looking at place value to 100, time and money in maths. Computing will see us produce simple animations through coding. History will be about Amy Johnson. Have a great half term week off - lets hope we get some sunshine.
