Kingfisher Classroom becomes the Kingfisher Cafe!
Yesterday, the Kingfishers completed their DT project for this half-term by making their own pasta sauces, when the Kingfisher classroom became the Kingfisher Cafe! The children chose to make a creamy sauce base or tomato sauce base from scratch. They decided whether or not to add vegetables (which they had to chop or grate ) and herbs. All children had a go at stirring their sauce; learning that they must always hold the pan handle firmly to be safe. Most of the sauces were thoroughly enjoyed, with some children coming back for thirds! Great culinary skills, Kingfishers!
