Weekly round up
Where is the time going?
We are now in December and Christmas preparations are well under way.
This last week we have been learning all about 2&3D shapes, patterns and properties. We have continued to program robots and becoming really good at it. In science we are learning about different materials - natural and man made and will be sorting them to a given criteria such as rough/smooth, bendy/solid. We made some amazing towers for Rapunzel and learnt different joining techniques.
On Tuesday we will be attempting our walk around town and will be combining geography - looking at the features of our town and history - the Great Flood of Driffield.
With winter very much in full swing please can you name all hats, scarves and gloves and practice fastening coats - it would be really helpful.
