Joining techniques
In Design and Technology, the Kingfishers have been learning about different types of bridges. They have decided to build a ‘beam bridge’ for Goldilocks and the Three Polar Bears to cross a river! They know that it will need to be strong and waterproof. Here they are developing their joining techniques. They have practised attaching card using slots, folds, tying and L-braces. They are now considering which joins will be most useful for their bridges.
