African Adeventure!
Year Two have moved, this week, from the freezing temperatures of the Arctic to to the warmer climate of Africa. They have plotted, on world maps, the route that this would involve, naming continents and oceans.
As part of learning about Africa, the children will be making African masks and have started the process of creating these from mod-roc...very messy, lots of fun!
In maths they have been naming and learning about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes; paying particular attention to how nets allow 2D shapes to be made into 3D shapes.
