Bonjour!
There was a lot of fun to be had at our first French Club this afternoon! We started by looking at exactly where France is located, using atlases and globes. Next, the children worked well in teams to complete a quiz about famous landmarks, people and food of France. We learnt how to say 'bonjour' and 'je m' apelle...' then played a game of hide and seek in which we needed to use these greetings when we found someone! All of the children made a French flag, writing their new vocabulary on it. We finished with the following song that we will be trying to learn over the next few weeks!

Next week we will be playing lots of games to help us learn French numbers to 20.
