Boris has woken up!
Boris the monster has woken up and popped his face out over his feet! The children were very excited on Monday morning talking about Boris. Boris had left a present for each class. It was some colourful little pom poms and a jar to put them in. Each colour is the same as the Colour Monster story-red (angry), blue (sad), green (calm), yellow (happy) and black (worried). The children now put one in the jar when they start the day and talk with the teacher about how they feel. It has really helped the children with their understanding of emotions. Other monster activities this week have been writing messages to Boris about the custard they made and the monster pictures they drew and painted. We are all looking forward to the Monster shop opening in Yelow room using Numicon for money!
