A festive week in Year Two

19 December 2019 (by schoollogin)

...oh yes it was!

What a week of festive fun it has been in Year Two.
We were very proud of how all of the children were excellent representatives for the school at the pantomime. It was lovely to see them all so engrossed in the action on stage and to see them all shout, dance and sing with festive cheer. A great time was had by all!
We had our Christmas movie treat for collecting so many items for the foodbank and tucked into our popcorn, sweets and crisps with true delight!
Today, it was the Christmas party and everyone joined in our games of corners, musical statues and musical bumps with good humour. Thank you for all of the party food donations; it was a feast! A very special visitor came to see us...we were thrilled to see the man in the bright red suit!
We are now looking forward to savouring our Christmas dinner tomorrow and we know Mrs Robinson will do us proud; as always! Please remember children can come in Christmas jumpers or something festive for the occasion and any tinned items to give to the foodbank in the new year would be greatly appreciated.
We are really proud of Year Two for working so hard on their Leaders' Award this term and congratulate them on completing it ; showing what caring and concerned citizens they are.
We wish all children and families an amazing Christmas filled with magic and merriment!
