Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

Starfish have had a brilliant trip to Elmswell Farm. Farmer John took us on a walk to help us spot the seasonal changes now it is Autumn. He pointed out the different trees to the children and we talked about the difference between evergreen and deciduous trees. The children enjoyed seeing Boswell again, and were very excited when he came out from his shed to say hello! Thankfully the rain held of until we arrived back at the school room at the farm, where the children had a good lunch and then created some natural portraits, and made some clay impressions using the natural resources we found on the walk.
