Egg-tastic fun!
The science crew had a great session designing a strong casing for a boiled egg. They drew their designs in small teams and discussed the best materials to cover the egg. After the children explained their design choices to the group, they dropped them from the top of the slide. Each child predicted if their egg would crack or survive. Everyone was confident that their egg would be safe! However, even though the children had thought carefully and put a protective case around the egg, it was the inside packing that made the difference! Only 2 out of 6 eggs remained intact! Well done scientists for trying this challenge. Next week the children will be going to Kings Mill woodland returning at 5.00pm. Please ensure they have the correct outfit in school for this activity.
